JUST THE DOULA

Firstly, I want to send a heartfelt congratulations on your pregnancy or the birth of your baby! This is such a special time, and I’d love to be part of your journey, offering support, reassurance, and care when you need it most.

I was born and raised in Essex, where I still live with my two grown-up children—my absolute world. Family has always been at the heart of everything I do, and when I’m not working, you’ll find me out on long walks with my dog, Binky, or spending time with loved ones over a good meal and plenty of laughter.

Motherhood has been the most transformative and rewarding experience of my life, and as my children grew, I knew I wanted to give something back—helping other parents navigate this incredible, but sometimes overwhelming, journey. That’s what led me to train as a Doula with the BirthBliss Academy in April 2022, and from the moment I started, I knew I had found my calling.

 

Becoming a parent is one of life’s biggest milestones, filled with excitement, love, and sometimes uncertainty. My role as a Doula is to walk beside you, offering a calm, reassuring presence as you step into this new chapter. Whether it’s providing emotional support during pregnancy, being by your side through birth, or helping you adjust to life with your baby in those early weeks, I am here to nurture, empower, and support you in the way that feels right for you.

I believe every family deserves compassionate, non-judgmental support, and I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, cared for, and confident in your choices.

I am fully insured and DBS-checked, and hold a clean driving license, so you can feel completely at ease knowing everything is in place for your family’s safety and well-being.
